The 2011 LEGO Engineering Symposium will be held at Tufts University in Anderson Hall. The Center for Engineering Education and Outreach is located next to Anderson Hall.

Hyatt Place Medford has a shuttle that will pick up and drop off guests at the Tufts Book store, which is just down the street from Anderson Hall. You must make reservations at the time of check in for this shuttle.
**Please note that this shuttle is only available at specific time blocks that are decided by the staff of the Hyatt Place. It is important to have other transportation options in case the shuttle is not available.

The closest subway stop or T-station to CEEO and Anderson Hall is Davis Square on the Red Line.  Both the CEEO and Anderson Hall are then only a 15 minute walk from Davis Square or you can take a bus

Take bus 96 at Medford Square bus stop and
get off at College Ave & Powder House Square

From Davis Square Redline T Stop:
Take bus 96 or bus 80 at Davis Square T Stop and
get off at College Ave & Powder House Square

 

Walking from the Subway

 Quicker walk, but more complicated:

Exit the Davis T Station on Holland St.  Turn left out of T station and walk down Holland St for 3.5 blocks.  When you see the Tufts Administration building on your right, you will turn into that parking lot (basketball courts on your left).  Walk through this area until you arrive at Broadway.  At the streetlight, walk straight on Packard.  Walk up Packard, past Powderhouse, up the hill to Professor's Row. Turn right onto Professor's Row.  Walk until you reach College Ave, and turn left.  Cross the street and you are at Anderson Hall.

Longer walk, but easier:

Exit the Davis T Station on College Ave.  Turn right onto College Ave and continue walking until you reach the rotary. At the rotary take the third street to your right (still College Ave).  You will see a large, low sign that says Tufts University, and be sure to stay to the right of that sign.  Continue on College Ave. You will arrive at Anderson Hall on your right.
