This is a very basic NXT vehicle that supports activities in the Teaching Resources section. It is made exclusively of pieces from the NXT EDU 9797 kit. This car was designed to be built very quickly so that it could be used in workshop settings or one-time events. This car was created to maximize the time spent learning programming and other skills in situations where participants have limited building time (and skills). The performance limitations of the vehicle are acknowledged and are intentional. LEGOengineering.com recommends exploring the building guides included with the NXT kit as well as the NXT Constructopedia for more advanced vehicle designs.
