{"id":10919,"date":"2016-06-07T10:28:41","date_gmt":"2016-06-07T00:28:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/legoeng.local?p=10919&#038;preview_id=10919"},"modified":"2017-06-08T13:06:57","modified_gmt":"2017-06-08T03:06:57","slug":"symposium2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/legoeng.local\/symposium2016\/","title":{"rendered":"LEGO Learning Symposium 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-10942\" src=\"http:\/\/legoeng.local\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/barbara-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"barbara\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" srcset=\"http:\/\/legoeng.local\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/barbara-300x188.jpg 300w, http:\/\/legoeng.local\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/barbara-600x375.jpg 600w, http:\/\/legoeng.local\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/barbara.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The 6th LEGO Learning Symposium was held 6-7 June 2016 at Tufts University (Boston, USA).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Teachers, administrators, and other educational partners from 16 different countries came together over the two day event to explore how K-12 learning happens in science, engineering, mathematics, literacy, and other disciplines using LEGO technologies.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Symposium featured a keynote presentation from Mitchel Resnick (Designer of Scratch and Director of the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab) and was packed full of teacher talks, hands-on workshops, panel discussions with teachers and students, and lots of networking amongst participants.
